The most common and effective treatment for Obstructive Sleep Apnea is Continuous Positive Airway Pressure or CPAP for short. A CPAP machine works by delivering constant air pressure through a special face mask while you sleep. The air pressure keeps your upper airway passages open, which prevents the episodes of apnea and stops you from snoring.
There are many different makes and models of machines and masks. Our team of trained Respiratory Therapists are highly trained and can help you choose the best CPAP option for your individual needs.
If you are a first-time user, we strongly recommend that you have a trial rental prior to purchase. If CPAP therapy treatment works successfully for you, our rental policy allows you to apply your rental paid invoices as a down payment toward the purchase of a CPAP device (maximum $450.00), providing you purchase within your first 90 days.

Our skilled therapists will meet with you to discuss the various options that are available and recommend the device and appropriate accessories for your particular needs.
If you are a first-time user, we strongly recommend you have a trial rental prior to purchase. It is important to know that most insurance companies cover some or all of the costs for CPAP machines and accessories. Many will cover replacement of the device every 5 years (as recommended by most manufacturers) as well as mask replacements every 6 months. You should check with your insurance provider to see if you may be covered.

One of the most important equipment decisions is choosing your mask. HorizonAire can help you select the right mask for your unique needs. Your mask should fit easily and comfortably with a good seal that prevents leaks into or around the eyes. The first thing to establish is how you naturally breathe (through the mouth, nose, or both).
